Pennsylvania-based artist Jason Sheptak creates abstract paintings consisting of gestural brushstrokes that flood the canvas with
colors. These works are imbued with the melody of music, the sounds
and vision of nature. The intended focus of using large canvas allows
him to involve his entire body to paint. Working primarily with acrylic
and mixed media, his work extends out to the audience with a
cordial encouragement to absorb and acknowledge.
